How to use your reading challenge
Each prompt is a nudge, not a rule. One book can count for one prompt (the classic way) or several at once (the relaxed way). Tick prompts off as you go, or print the list and keep it in your current book as a bookmark.
Make it your own
- Swap freely. Don't love a prompt? Shuffle again, or just cross it out and write your own.
- Mix easy and stretchy prompts so the challenge feels fun all year.
- Buddy-read it. Copy the link and send it to a friend so you're doing the same list.

Questions people ask
How many prompts should my reading challenge have?
Pick a number that matches how much you read. Twelve prompts (one a month) is a relaxed challenge; 52 prompts (one a week) suits readers who already read a book a week.
Can one book count for more than one prompt?
In your own challenge, absolutely. Many readers let a book cover two or three prompts to keep things fun rather than stressful.
Can I print the list?
Yes. Press "Print my list" and only the list prints, without the rest of the page. You can also bookmark the page; the link remembers your list.
